Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of TaskBolt. It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using TaskBolt, you agree to comply with this policy.
Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of your account.
1. General Conduct
You agree to use TaskBolt lawfully and respectfully. You must not use the platform in any way that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of others
- Harms or threatens the safety of any person
- Distributes hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal activities
2. AI Feature Usage
When using TaskBot and other AI features, you must not:
- Attempt to manipulate AI systems. Do not try to bypass safety measures or trick AI into generating harmful content.
- Generate harmful content. Do not use AI features to create content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, or defamatory.
- Rely on AI without verification. AI output may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying it before acting on it.
- Extract AI models. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or replicate the underlying AI models.
- Automate AI abuse. Do not use scripts or bots to exploit AI features beyond normal usage patterns.
- Use AI output as the sole basis for decisions that have significant legal, financial, or safety implications.
3. Automated Access and Scraping
You must not access TaskBolt by automated means except through our officially provided APIs. Specifically, you must not:
- Scrape or crawl the platform with bots or similar tools
- Harvest data from TaskBolt for unauthorised purposes
- Exceed API rate limits or circumvent usage restrictions
- Overload infrastructure through excessive requests
- Reverse engineer the platform except as permitted by law
If you need programmatic access, use our API in compliance with documented rate limits.
4. Account Security and Credentials
You are responsible for the security of your account. You must not:
- Share your login credentials with unauthorised individuals
- Use another person's account without their permission
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or free-tier limits
- Share API keys publicly or embed them in client-side code
- Attempt unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems
- Bypass authentication or security measures
We recommend a strong unique password, two-factor authentication, periodic API key rotation, and prompt removal of access for departed team members.
5. Content Standards
Content you create, upload, or share on TaskBolt must not:
- Contain malware or harmful code
- Be spam or unsolicited promotional material
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Contain other people's personal information without their consent
- Be obscene or sexually explicit
- Promote illegal activity
6. Teams and Collaboration
When using team features, you must respect the permissions set by team administrators, not attempt to access data outside your assigned permissions, not share team data without authorisation, and report security concerns to your team administrator.
7. Commercial Misuse
You must not resell or redistribute access to the platform, use it to build a competing product, or publish benchmarks of it without our written permission.
8. Enforcement
Violations may result in, depending on severity and frequency:
- Warning: a notice to stop the prohibited activity
- Temporary suspension of access
- Termination of your account under the Terms of Service
- Referral to law enforcement where the conduct appears unlawful

Include as much detail as possible.
Appeals
If your account is suspended or terminated and you believe we got it wrong, email legal@taskbolt.ai within 30 days. We will review and respond within 10 business days.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date above and notify users of material changes by email or in-app notice.
